4-Cylinder
The future is moving to more efficient engines with low displacements and high torque. Our Isuzu 4-cylinder powerplant delivers just that. Mated with two-stage turbos, the 154kW (210PS) delivers 726Nm of torque and the 177kW (240PS) punches out 765Nm.

6-Cylinder
Based on the proven B6.7 engine, the Isuzu DB6A 6-Cylinder engine meets Euro-VI standards by reducing NOx and particulate matter emissions. It features unique calibrations and the i-Brake, an integrated compression brake that delivers significantly better retardation than the previous exhaust brake.

Tipper FAQs
The price of a tipper truck depends on its size, payload, transmission and features. Isuzu's Ready-to-Work range extends from compact N Series models to the larger FRR. For current pricing, contact your local Isuzu dealer for a tailored quote.
Tipper body width varies by model. Across the Isuzu Ready-to-Work models reviewed, internal body widths range from approximately 1.78 metres on the compact NKR to 2.16 metres on the larger NQR and FRR tippers. Check the relevant model specification for exact dimensions.
No. Most Isuzu tippers unload to the rear. The Isuzu Tri-Tipper can tip to the left, right or rear, providing extra flexibility when access is limited.
The best small tipper depends on your work, payload and access requirements. The compact Isuzu NKR is a strong option for tight worksites, with a 1.78-metre-wide internal tipper body, 2.0 m³ capacity and configurations rated at 4.5 tonnes GVM.
Payload depends on the model, transmission and final vehicle configuration. Across the Isuzu Ready-to-Work tipper models reviewed, indicative payloads range from about 1.6 tonnes on a 4.5-tonne GVM model to around 6 tonnes on the FRR. Always confirm the available payload for the specific truck before loading.
Isuzu Ready-to-Work tipper body capacity varies by model, from 1.8 m³ on the NMR 65/45-150 Tipper up to 3.9 m³ on the current FRR 110-240 Tipper. Other models sit between these figures, so check the relevant specification for the truck you are considering.
The licence required depends on the truck's Gross Vehicle Mass. Isuzu offers tipper models rated at 4.5 tonnes GVM that can be driven on a car licence, while heavier models require the appropriate rigid-truck licence. Check the vehicle's rated GVM and your state or territory licensing rules.
